comes to our warm and comfortable accommodations. Our new
lodge is the perfect place to relax, socialize, and enjoy
a home cooked meal after a long day on the river. Return at
night to your own comfortably furnished guest room or cabin.
Each guest room and cabin has a designated heated bathroom,
shower and flush toilet. Enjoy the luxuries of our sauna,
library and fly tying area.
Talstar is a fly-in fishing lodge located 70 miles northwest
of Anchorage on the Talachulitna River. We specialize in both
fly and spin fishing for King Salmon, Red Salmon, Silver Salmon,
Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden.
Our food is family style cuisine. We feature traditional
Alaskan home cooked meals. Our guests tell us they return
year after year as much for the food as for the fishing. Meals
are served three times a day and special dietary needs can
be met.
