If there were an angler's heaven, you would know it when you saw it. Deep, amber-tinged pools filled with trophy Rainbows and Wild Salmon, waiting for the morning's first cast. We know that place, and we will take you there. Southcentral Alaska's Talachulitna River and the Talstar Lodge. The crystalline waters of the renowned Talachulitna River are but a cast away from your doorstep. Clear enough to spot the fish you would challenge.

The Tal is just south of the Alaska Range, in the foothills of North America's tallest peaks. In its thirty-mile descent to the junction of the Skwentna River, this beautiful stream meanders through some of Alaska's most spectacular scenery, the backdrop for some of the best Trout and Salmon fishing in the world.

Dubbed "the Tal" by anglers around the globe, this world-class fishery is home to all five species of Pacific Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden and Arctic Grayling.

Talstar Lodge is strategically positioned to ensure this outdoor experience meets your expectation of quality, comfort and adventure.

The Talachulitna River area with its rich ecosystem offers abundant bear and wildlife viewing opportunities.
